I cannot thank Mr B Roy Chaudhary enough for the way he treated my spinal problems. At our first visit he spent time listening to what I had to say , then carefully explained his diagnosis and how he could treat the issues. When I was admitted to hospital everything proceeded like clockwork whilst at the same time all kept very calm The anaesthetist was very efficient whilst at the same time reassuring and understanding. The whole experience, the prep, the keyhole procedure and aftercare was admirable and I cannot thank everyone involved enough for a remarkably stress free and successful experience.

Dr Chaudhary was great from the start, he listened to me and made be feel like I mattered. He explained all aspects of the surgery to be so that I understood any risks. I had complete trust in him and don’t believe there is anyone else that could have done a better job.

I was due to have neck surgery but caught covid. Due to other health issues it was nearly a year before I saw the consultant again. He recognised me remembering that he should have done the operation. I explained what happened and he then looked at the scan he’d requested previously and because there was nothing compressing on the spine he recommended no surgery. He suggested I always have pain relief to hand as I still had some pain but nothing like I experienced when the disc first prolapsed and said if i could be referred back to him if it became necessary but for now I would be discharged back to my gp.

Back surgery for spinal fusion & decompression. After having agonising leg&hip pain for over 4 years affecting my mobility & sleep. The pain was alleviated. No pain standing, walking , sleeping. This for me has been life changing. I can’t thank Mr Chaudhary & his team enough for my care. I would recommend anybody to have surgery at Nuffield Hospital. Wouldn’t receive better care privately. Thank you so much

Roy was amazing. Having been battling through the system I was starting to despair. Roy listened, understood the situation and immediately implemented a treatment plan. I had an MRI which was slightly ambiguous to which level was causing the neuropathy. Roy arranged a diagnostic nerve route block that week and surgery the week after. He took me through what was involved with the surgery, risk / benefit of surgery vs. non-surgical options, potential complications quoting his personal frequency vs. national and projected post-op recovery. The operation was a success with instant improvement in neurological deficit and recovery as predicted. My care, as overseen by Roy, has been faultless.
